One of the well-known diversified Malaysian companies, Serba Dinamik, has begun the work on implementing the largest investment project in Uzbekistan's Khorezm region, Trend reports via UzDaily. Construction of modern energy efficient plant using the latest European technologies for the production of caustic soda and liquid chlorine is under development.
The project cost is $250 million of direct foreign investment.
The presentation of this project took place during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Khorezm region on November 29-30, 2018.
Serba Dinamik is a group of companies providing engineering services in the oil and gas, chemical and energy industries, and is also considered one of the drivers of the Malaysian industrial sector. It operates in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, the United Kingdom and other countries of the world.
For the practical implementation of the project, Uzbekistan embassy in Malaysia secured the signing of an agreement between Serba Dinamik and the world leader in the production of high-quality equipment ThyssenKrupp to equip a plant for the production of caustic soda and liquid chlorine in the Hazorasp free economic zone.
The signing of a contract took place within the Uzbek-German Business Forum January 14, 2019 in Berlin, organized on the eve of the visit of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany.
