Timbo is new people relations manager at Letshego

Letshego Holdings Namibia has appointed Lizl Timbo as the new manager of people relations.

In her role, she is expected to work closely with Letshego’s head of people and culture to execute strategic initiatives.

With 14 years of experience in human resources, Timbo is passionate about creating a thriving human-centric work environment.

She anchors her work ethic in the leadership philosophy that “strategy is only as good as the individuals executing it”.

This philosophy will serve as her compass as she navigates the crucial role of advancing Letshego’s vision of fostering a thriving and inclusive workplace.

“I am thrilled to serve the organisation to the best of my ability and help fulfil the mandate entrusted to me. I aim to make a lasting impact and leave behind a meaningful legacy,” said Timbo.

Before joining Letshego Namibia, she worked at MTC and the Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia, where she honed her skills in human capital management and corporate services.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Psychology and various specialised certifications in leadership, human resources, executive management, performance management, labour law and labour relations.

She is pursuing a master’s degree in leadership and sustainability, reflecting her dedication to personal growth and continuous learning.
