Sidemen, the British YouTube group led by KSI, has seen a significant financial boost, with earnings exceeding £7m in a prosperous year.
The company, Sidemen Entertainment, which creates content for YouTube, saw its net assets grow to over £7m in the 12 months leading up to 30 June, 2024, according to recently filed accounts at Companies House, as reported by City AM.
This is a stark contrast to the previous 18 months, where the firm reported a deficit of £114,208.
These figures show a substantial increase from the net assets of £4.3m that Sidemen Entertainment reported at the end of 2021.
The Sidemen group comprises KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, along with Simon Minter (Miniminter), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Tobit John Brown (TBJZL), Ethan Payne (Behzinga), Vikram Singh Barn (Vikkstar123) and Harry Lewis (W2S).
The group is known for their diverse range of videos, including challenges, sketches and video game commentaries across their YouTube channels.
KSI, born in London, also heads Misfits Boxing and co-owns several businesses, including Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka and Lunchly.
Prime, a range of sports drinks, mixes and energy drinks, was created and promoted by KSI and Logan Paul. The brand made headlines in 2022 when its launch caused disruption in stores due to high demand.
However, Nielsen data shows that sales of Prime dropped by almost 50 per cent in 2024.
Last month, KSI joined the judging panel of Britain's Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden.
In August 2024, KSI and the Sidemen made it to the Sunday Times' inaugural top 30 Gaming Rich List.
Last summer saw KSI among several content creators who invested £1.5m in The Fellas Studios, a production company owned by renowned YouTubers Callum Airey and Joshua Larkin.
Earlier this month, the annual charity football match organised by the Sidemen took place at Wembley Stadium, drawing in a crowd of 90,000 fans.
The event managed to raise over £4m and garnered more than 15m streams on YouTube.
