Worcester Red Sox manager Chad Tracy was a former catcher in college and during his minor league career. So, Tracy is continuing a long tradition of former catchers going on to become managers after their playing career is over.

If you look at so many of the great MLB managers, you will see many were catchers in their playing days.

In recent weeks, Tracy has handled several call ups from Worcester to Boston. It's been a juggling act with the starting rotation and especially the bullpen, but it's been working for the WooSox who are playing great baseball.

Our Kevin Shea has the story in the video above.
